The little cottage on the edge of the meadow was always meant to be safe. Sometimes the Wolf spots them. Sometimes the kitchen clock seems to tick backwards, rewinding just long enough for him to appear exactly where he needs to be. The moon rises higher in the window, the pot bubbles, and the kitchen holds its breath waiting to learn who is cooking and who is being cooked.
Reels, Paylines and the Hot Zone
The game runs across five reels and three rows with 40 fixed paylines, paying three or more matching symbols from the leftmost reel on consecutive reels. Only the highest win pays per line, while wins on separate lines are added together. Cash Prize, Bonus, 1 UP and X symbols do not form standard line wins — they drive the special features instead.
In the middle of the reels sits the HOT ZONE, a single highlighted position on reel 3, row 2. This is the only place the Wolf can appear, and it stays active throughout both the main game and the respins feature.
Wolf Wild Symbol
The Wolf is the Wild symbol, substituting for all symbols except Cash Prize, Bonus, 1 UP and X. Because he only lands in the Hot Zone on reel 3, row 2, every spin becomes a question of whether the centre position pays off.
When the Wolf lands in the Hot Zone he collects the values of all Cash Prize symbols currently in view, and he can also trigger the HIGH STEAKS Respins feature. If he misses the zone, a random Rewind may spin the Hot Zone back so that he lands there after all.
Cash Prize Pigs
Cash Prize symbols are pigs carrying a value on a coloured tag, and they award that value when the Wild collects them. The blue tag is worth 0.5× the total bet, green is worth 1×, red is worth 1.5×, and gold tags range from 2× up to 5× the total bet.
Every Cash Prize symbol that lands also feeds the increasing Special Prizes displayed above the reels. Blue, green and red pigs each add 0.1× to the Special Prize of the matching colour, while a gold pig adds 0.25× to the gold prize.
Bonus, X and 1 UP Symbols
The Bonus symbol triggers the HIGH STEAKS Respins feature when it lands together with the Wolf on the same spin. Bonus and 1 UP symbols can appear together, but Bonus and X symbols never land on the same spin.
The X symbol multiplies all Cash Prize symbols on the reels by the current win multiplier — without it, the multiplier stays locked and does not apply. The 1 UP symbol raises the current win multiplier by 1 and stops appearing once the multiplier reaches 10×.
Win Multiplier
The win multiplier is shown in the little house icon at the top right of the reels and can climb as high as 10×. It is built up by 1 UP symbols and is reset back to 1× once the HIGH STEAKS Respins feature ends.
HIGH STEAKS Respins Feature
Landing the Bonus symbol and the Wolf on the same spin awards three respins. The triggering Wolf stays locked in the Hot Zone for the whole feature, and only Cash Prize and 1 UP symbols can land during it.
Every Cash Prize symbol that lands is multiplied by the current win multiplier, and every Cash Prize or 1 UP landing resets the respin counter back to three. Fill every position on the reels and the 5000× GRAND prize is awarded. When the respins run out all prizes are paid, with a chance to move into the Golden Cauldron feature.
Golden Cauldron and Increasing Special Prizes
The Golden Cauldron feature can trigger on any main-game spin where a Cash Prize symbol lands, or at the end of the HIGH STEAKS Respins. Plates are picked until three matching pig symbols are revealed, winning the increasing Special Prize of that colour. The cauldron beside the reels grows visually as more Cash Prizes are collected, though this is decoration rather than a trigger meter.
In standard play the gold Special Prize starts at 200× and can climb to 500×, red starts at 100× and rises to 250×, green starts at 20× and rises to 100×, and blue starts at 7.5× and rises to 50×. Winning a Special Prize resets that colour to its starting value.
Buy Feature
The BUY FEATURE button to the left of the reels instantly triggers the HIGH STEAKS Respins with a chosen win multiplier of up to 10×. Prices scale with the multiplier, from 20× the total bet at 1× up to 122.5× the total bet at 10×.
Buying the feature also raises the starting values of the Special Prizes — gold begins at 375×, red at 175×, green at 60× and blue at 25×, each still capped at their usual maximum. These values reset to their pre-purchase amounts when you return to standard play.
Autoplay and Turbo
