Age of the Gods Norse: Gods and Giants is a 5-reel, 50-line slot game developed by Playtech with the theme of the main gods Odin, Thor and the fire giant Surtur in Norse mythology.

Odin, the Allfather and king of Asgard, rules over the nine realms from his golden throne.

With his ravens Huginn and Muninn, he watches over the worlds and seeks wisdom by sacrificing his eye at Mimir's well.

His son Thor, the God of Thunder, protects both gods and humans from threats using his mighty hammer Mjolnir.

One of their greatest enemies is Surtur, the Fire Giant who rules Muspelheim, the realm of eternal flame.

Prophesied to bring about Ragnarok - the twilight of the gods - Surtur waits with his flaming sword to burn the nine realms when the final battle comes.

Another fearsome foe is Jormungandr, the World Serpent, so massive that it encircles all of Midgard (Earth) while biting its own tail.

Born of Loki's union with the giantess Angrboda, this monstrous creature was cast into the ocean by Odin, where it grew to its enormous size.

Thor has faced Jormungandr several times, most famously during a fishing trip where he nearly pulled the serpent from the sea.

According to prophecy, during Ragnarok, Surtur will lead the fire giants in battle against the gods, setting the nine worlds ablaze with his sword.

Thor will face Jormungandr in their final battle - though he will succeed in killing the World Serpent, its venom will also prove fatal to Thor, who will walk nine steps before falling.

Odin himself will be devoured by the great wolf Fenrir, another of Loki's children.
