Age of the Gods: Furious 4 - Playtech Demo

Age of the Gods: Furious 4 is a 5-reel, 20-line slot machine game developed by Playtech with the theme of Apollo, Pandora, Hephaestus, the god of light, and Atlas, the god of light in ancient Greek mythology.

Apollo, the god of music, poetry, art, prophecy, truth, archery, and the sun, was one of the most important and complex gods in Greek mythology.

Twin brother to Artemis, he was born on the island of Delos to Zeus and Leto.

Known for his extraordinary beauty and talents, Apollo was involved in numerous myths, including his pursuit of Daphne, who transformed into a laurel tree to escape him.

He also established the Oracle of Delphi after slaying the serpent Python, making it the most important prophetic site in ancient Greece.

Pandora was the first human woman created by the gods at Zeus's command.

Hephaestus crafted her from clay, while other gods granted her various gifts: beauty, charm, music, curiosity, and more.

She was created as part of Zeus's punishment for humanity after Prometheus stole fire from the gods.

She was given a box (or jar) and married to Prometheus's brother Epimetheus.

Despite being warned not to open the container, her curiosity overwhelmed her, and when she did, she released all the evils into the world - disease, death, sorrow, and more.

Only Hope remained at the bottom of the box.

Hephaestus, the god of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, and sculpture, was born to Zeus and Hera, though some myths say Hera bore him alone.

He was cast from Mount Olympus due to his lameness but became renowned for his craftsmanship.

He created many famous items including Zeus's thunderbolts, Achilles's armor, and Aphrodite's magical girdle.

Despite being married to Aphrodite, their marriage was troubled, as she frequently had affairs with Ares.

Hephaestus once caught them in an invisible net of his own making, exposing their infidelity to all the gods.

Atlas was a Titan who was punished after the Titanomachy (the war between the Titans and Olympian gods) by being forced to hold up the celestial heavens for eternity.

His most famous story involves Hercules, who needed Atlas's help to retrieve the golden apples of the Hesperides.

Atlas agreed to get the apples while Hercules held the sky, but when Atlas returned, he tried to trick Hercules into holding the sky forever.

Hercules outsmarted him by asking Atlas to take the sky back momentarily while he adjusted his cloak, then left with the apples.

Atlas was also known for his encounter with Perseus, who used Medusa's head to turn him to stone, creating the Atlas Mountains.

These figures demonstrate different aspects of Greek mythology: Apollo represents divine perfection and artistic achievement; Pandora embodies the complex relationship between divine punishment and human nature; Hephaestus shows that even physical imperfection couldn't diminish divine power and skill; and Atlas represents both the consequences of divine punishment and the eternal burden of cosmic order.

Their stories continue to influence literature, art, and cultural references to this day.
