Esmeralda - Playtech Demo
Esmeralda is a 5-reel 25-line slot game developed by Playtech, themed around the character Esmeralda, the protagonist of Victor Hugo's novel "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame."
Esmeralda, a beautiful Romani dancer in 15th-century Paris, captures hearts across the city with her dancing and kindness.
The deformed bell-ringer Quasimodo, archdeacon Claude Frollo, and Captain Phoebus all fall in love with her.
Frollo, consumed by forbidden desire, frames her for Phoebus's attempted murder.
Despite Quasimodo's efforts to protect her, Esmeralda is wrongly convicted and sentenced to death.
In a tragic turn of events, she is hanged, despite being innocent.
Later, it's revealed she was actually the long-lost daughter of a noblewoman, stolen as a baby and replaced with the deformed Quasimodo.
